“ Great spot for a wide variety of organic and non gluten products. Customer service was awesome. Loved the sandwich bar and sushi place inside. ”
“ This Arden area Whole Foods Market has a fabulous meat and seafood department, likely the best in all of Sacramento. The selections are unrivaled by any other grocer. Most meat and seafood counters have a very common standard of salmon, tilapia, cod, and sometimes snapper or halibut and it doesnt look very fresh. In addition to the common standards, served brighter and fresher, this store generally offers fresh Chilean Sea Bass, swordfish, ahi ahi, Mahi, king crab and snow crab, oysters that dont stink to high heaven, and so on. You can actually buy a 2 thick steak and, on occasion, a tomahawk steak ready for the grill! I truly dont know of anywhere else in SacTown you can make that purchase. They also offer a great ready to eat area with pizza by the slice, sandwiches made to order, prepared dinners, etc. The bakery here is top notch, offering a much higher level of treats and such than other grocery store bakeries offer. Theres no comparison. For the health minded souls, the organic options, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and other special dietary selections are endless. ”
“ This review is way overdue!! I drove two hours Thanksgiving 2024 to get a Vegan Pumpkin Pie and ended up leaving the store with all sorts of delicious goodies. One of them being a huge vegan pizza that was affordable! Halie is a valuable asset to Whole Foods. She went above and beyond in making me this vegan pizza. She changed her gloves and even agreed to creating a vegan pizza she thought would be good from the available vegan toppings. I have to say hands down BEST Pizza I have had in a long time. Halie, thank you so much for going out of your way and thank you Whole Foods for hiring such a wonderful person and all of your vegan options. Please bring back the vegan donuts! ”

“ The Whole Foods Market on Arden Way and Eastern Ave is one of the oldest Whole Foods in Sacramento. But the store still looks very good and well organized. The employees there are always helpful and friendly. The only problem there is the parking lot is too busy and the parking spaces are very narrow. ”

“ This specific Whole Foods location is my favorite. They always have a wide selection of specialty items in stock and staff is always friendly and helpful. I personally love their salmon avocado sushi roll and purchase it several times a week. Their strawberry shortcake is my absolute favorite. They are also my favorite place to buy tulips, they last the longest and are actually quite affordable. Overall this location has lots to choose from and has a great staff. ”
